CSB CARE is devoted to providing custom solutions for a full range of visual and physical challenges. Nearly every situation is unique; many conditions are progressive, requiring constant revision and adaptation. Our dedicated team members assess each situation to determine the ideal solution. They provide guidance, research, and in-home and remote training.

The CSB Story

Since 1996, CSB CARE has served thousands of blind, visually impaired, and physically disabled clients worldwide by providing large print, Braille, electronic Braille, computer access, and ALS related technology including eye-tracking functionality. All of our services are free of charge.

  • Rachel Blum Executive Director

    Rachel leads CSB CARE’s overall strategy, growth, and operations, working to ensure that the organization continues to meet the evolving needs of individuals with visual and physical challenges.

    She oversees development, communications, and organizational planning, while building partnerships that expand CSB CARE’s reach and impact.

    Her focus is on strengthening the systems, relationships, and resources that make it possible for every client to access Torah, tefillah, communication, and daily life with dignity and independence.

  • Rabbi Nachum Lehman Founder and Director of CSB CARE

    Rabbi Nachum Lehman, Founder and Director of CSB CARE, is dedicated to helping people with disabilities to daven, learn and teach Torah, communicate, maintain and regain independence.

    He manages all CSB CARE technology related projects and oversees all CSB CARE’s activities. Rabbi Lehman’s advice is sought after by eye-tracking professionals across the country.

  • Rabbi Levi Gottesman Development Manager

    Rabbi Levi Gottesman leads CSB CARE’s development efforts, building the partnerships that make this work possible.

    He connects supporters to the impact of CSB CARE, helping ensure that individuals with visual and physical challenges can access Torah, tefillah, communication, and daily life with dignity and independence. Through these relationships, he helps expand what is possible for every client we serve.

  • Rabbi Aryeh Shuter Production and Solution Manage

    Rabbi Aryeh Shuter, Production and Solution Manager, manages all Braille (embossed and electronic) and large print production at CSB CARE. His decades of experience allow him to accurately advise parents and provide every client with Braille and large print materials that work best for them.

    Hundreds of clients rely on his expertise and understanding to get their Siddurim, Chumashim, Daf Yomi, school materials and everything in between.

  • Heshy Fogel Large Print and Eye-Tracking Specialist

    Heshy Fogel, Large Print and Eye-Tracking Specialist, is responsible for processing print and digital seforim to be used for large print production and to be integrated into eye-tracking devices.

    ALS clients rely on him to create seforim in eye tracking devices which allow them to independently navigate the material. He is also responsible for updating and testing of all eye tracking equipment stocked by CSB.

  • Mrs. Shaindy Goldman Client & Operations Manager

    Mrs. Goldman oversees CSB CARE’s day-to-day operations and serves as a central point of contact for clients, families, and partners.

    She manages intake, coordination, and internal systems, ensuring that each request is handled with care, clarity, and follow-through. From first call to final delivery, she helps keep every detail moving.

    Her work ensures that clients not only receive the right solutions, but experience a process that is smooth, responsive, and supportive.

  • Toba Lehman Braille and Large Print Magazine Publisher

    Toba Lehman, Braille and Large Print Magazine Publisher, manages the weekly production of all large print and Braille magazines.

    She is responsible for the editing, production and shipping of 5000 volumes of Braille magazines and 2000 volumes of large print versions annually.

  • Devorah Krancer .NET Programmer

    Devorah Krancer, .NET Programmer for CSB CARE who transforms the organization’s dreams into working solutions.

    She develops and manages all CSB CARE electronic Braille software, low-vision software and text libraries, communication software for ALS patients, Zmanim hotline, and our word processing programs.

  • Chaya Pessi Zuckerman Finance & Bookkeeping Manager

    Chaya Pessi manages CSB CARE’s financial records and bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy, organization, and accountability across all financial activity. She supports day-to-day financial operations, including tracking income and expenses, maintaining records, and coordinating with accounting partners.

    Her work ensures that CSB CARE’s financial systems are reliable, transparent, and aligned with the organization’s mission.
